General

What is LexLearn Academy?

LexLearn Academy is a 16-week live tech education program built around proof of work, not certificates. Every module ends with a real project. It runs under Lexcodeit Technologies.

When does the first cohort start?

August 2026. Both tracks run together. The next cohort after that is mid-2027.

How many students are in each cohort?

15 per track. Intentionally small — small enough that the instructor knows your name, your pace, and where you're stuck.

Are classes recorded?

Yes. Every session is recorded and available on the student portal. You won't lose a session permanently if you miss one — but live attendance is strongly encouraged.

What is a consultation day?

On off-days (days without a scheduled class), you can book time with the instructor for one-on-one support, catch-up sessions, or questions. It's not squeezed into class time.

Engineering Track

Do I need to know how to code before applying?

No. The Engineering Track starts from true zero — HTML on day one. The diagnostic exam tells us where you are, not whether you're in.

What will I be able to build by the end?

A full-stack web application — frontend, backend, and database — deployed live on the internet. Plus 7 practical projects built during the 16 weeks.

What languages and frameworks will I learn?

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js. Git and GitHub for version control. Tailwind CSS for styling. Vercel for deployment.

Is this enough to get a job?

We won't promise you a job — no honest program can. What you'll have is a real portfolio of shipped projects and the skills to back them up. What you do with that depends on your own effort.

Business Operations Track

Do I need any tech background for the Business Operations Track?

None at all. If you can use WhatsApp and a smartphone, you have enough to start. No coding, no prior experience required.

What tools will I be using?

Google Sheets, Excel, Zapier, Make.com, Notion, Postman, and browser DevTools. All either free or have free tiers — you won't need to buy anything to participate.

Can Business Operations students participate on a phone?

Yes — most of the tools in this track are accessible on a smartphone. Engineering students cannot participate fully on a phone.

Is this a good foundation before the Engineering Track?

One of the best. By the time you start writing code, you'll already understand how businesses work and how to talk about value — not just features.

Application & Payment

What is the application process?

Submit your application → pay the ₦5,000 non-refundable application fee → take the diagnostic exam → schedule your interview → receive your offer → choose your payment plan → get access to the student portal.

Is the diagnostic exam pass or fail?

No. It tells us where to start you — so we can pace the program correctly for your cohort. It is not a gate.

What are the payment options?

Pay once (lowest total), pay twice, or pay in three installments. A ₦10,000 admin fee applies per installment beyond the first. Full pricing is on each track page.

What happens if I miss a payment?

A 48-hour grace period applies after each due date. If payment isn't received within that window, access to classes, the student portal, and other resources is paused until payment is made.

Is the application fee refundable?

No. The ₦5,000 application fee is non-refundable. It exists to keep the applicant pool serious.

After Enrollment

What do I get access to after enrolling?

The student portal — which includes session recordings, a resource library, tests and assessments, and direct messaging with the instructor.

What if I fall behind?

Every session is recorded. Consultation days exist specifically for catch-up and one-on-one support. Week 16 is a dedicated buffer week with no new material.

What does the final project look like?

A real deliverable — not a mock exercise. For Engineering, it's a full-stack web application deployed live. For Business Operations, it's a complete operational overhaul of a real business. You have up to 4 weeks to complete it.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes — but that's not the point. The point is the portfolio. The certificate is a formality; the projects are the proof.
